Façade Improvement Grants Available to Parade St. Home Owners and Home Owners living near Parade St.

Another step in the revitalization of
Erie's historic East Bayfront!

Nineteen $2,500 grants are available to owner occupants living on or near Parade Streets. Grants are for exterior home improvements such as painting, siding, porches, windows and doors. Home owners must contribute $1,000 towards the improvements and obtain two bids from qualified contractors in order to qualify for the grant.

This exciting opportunity for East Bayfront neighbors is part of Governor Ed Rendell’s Elm Street program that encourages re-investment in neighborhoods. The City of Erie and the Bayfront East Side Taskforce (BEST) are co-sponsors.
