East Bayfront's Third Annual Beautification Contest - a HUGE Success.

A record 35 people entered East Bayfront's 3rd Annual Beautification Contest.   Winners will be announced at the September 14th neighborhood meeting, 6:30 p.m. at 231 Parade Street. The meeting is open to the public.

Categories include Children's, New, Curb, Vegetable, Landscaping, Creative, Flower and Business/Social Club/ Church

The following sponsors donated over $1,300 for outreach efforts and prizes for the contest.

The beautification contest is one of many strategies BEST and the Neighborhood Watch uses to keep the neighborhood moving towards improvement.  In addition to the contest the partnership supports community flower beds at the corner of the Bayfront Parkway and Holland Street, Levy Park, and the traffic triangles at East 6th and Parade and East 6th Street and East Avenue - all gardens are planted and maintained by resident volunteers
